The Armin cap is a medieval headgear for men. It is available in three sizes to accommodate almost any head size. We recommend embellishing the Armin cap individually, for example with a border, feather or brooch.
About the history of this headgear, it is a further development of the so-called "pillbox" and is known as the Italian Barrett. It was mainly worn in southern Europe by townspeople and wealthy citizens from the late Middle Ages to the Renaissance. While the youth tended to wear the cap to the side, it was placed upwards by cardinals and high-ranking personalities.
